Tony Garcia, mBA, CISSP

Mr. Garcia  is a senior IT executive and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with more than three decades of leadership in enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity governance, and mission-critical infrastructure. His career spans tactical military communications, global Department of Defense assignments, and executive oversight of nationally significant cloud and high-performance computing environments supporting war fighters around the globe.

 

He currently serves as an Associate Director with the U.S. Department of  Veterans Affairs supporting critical path testing for the VA's most critical applications. He leads multi-disciplinary engineering teams, strengthens cybersecurity posture under federal compliance frameworks, and drives resilient architecture strategies that have achieved sustained service availability and industry-leading security performance.

 

Previously, he served in senior leadership roles within the U.S. Department of the Navy and across multiple overseas commands, directing complex modernization initiatives, global network operations, and large-scale infrastructure programs in Okinawa, Mainland Japan, South Korea, and Guam.
